Normally, Spiderman 2 retails for $69,99, which is ten dollars more than what the previous installment featuring Miles Morales was. The game runs about 20 hours if you’re making a beeline through the story, but it’s about 40 hours if you try to complete all of the side objectives. Yes, a discount code for Spiderman 2 is available for a retailer in the UK called Currys. Entering WEBSLINGER15 in the promo code area before checkout will get you a 15% discount on the game.
If the discount code doesn’t work, though, at the very least Currys is offering the game for £62.99, which is less than the retail price of £69.99. There are other UK retailers that are matching this sale price as well. This includes Hit.co.uk, which is offering the game at £62.85, and The Game Collection, which is selling it at a slightly higher price point at £64.95.
We’re not sure why the UK is getting these discounts in particular for Spiderman 2, as US retailers haven’t followed suit. At the time of writing, Amazon is selling the game at full retail price at $69.99, and the same goes for Walmart, Best-Buy, Target, and GameStop. That said, it is getting close to Black Friday and Christmas, so there’s a chance we might see the price slashed a bit, but it wouldn’t be surprising if discounts skip a year since those two holidays are only within the next two months.
