Tactical Stance can be a very useful tool for players who like to play aggressively in MW3. It allows players to move quickly and react quickly while still maintaining a relatively tight bullet spread. However, it is important to note that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Tactical Stance is not a replacement for ADS. ADS is still the best way to get accurate shots at long range.
What is Tactical Stance in MW3?
Tactical Stance, or Tac-Stance, is a new mechanic introduced in MW3. It is a middle-ground between hip-fire and aiming down sights (ADS). This means that players have a tighter bullet spread than normal hip fire, but they also have quicker mobility than ADS. This makes Tac-Stance ideal for close-quarter combat situations where players need to be able to move quickly and react quickly.
How to use Tactical Stance
Players can choose how they want to activate Tactical Stance. To do this, go to Settings > Gameplay Settings > Tactical ADS Activation and select either ADS + Melee or ADS + Down Button. players can tjhen activate it by pressing the corresponding button while aiming down sights.
When Tactical Stance is activated, players will notice a change in their crosshair. The crosshair will become smaller and more precise, indicating that the player’s bullet spread has been tightened. Players can then fire their weapon as normal, but they should keep in mind that they will still be able to move and strafe more quickly than if they were fully ADSing.
How to disable Tactical Stance
To disable Tactical Stance, simply go back to the Tactical ADS Activation setting and select Off. This will disable the mechanic completely.
