With the new release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players cannot wait to jump into a brand new game of MW3 Ranked Play. However, everybody is aware that ranked play will arrive a little later, after players have spent enough time in the game. For an October 2022 release of Modern Warfare 2, Ranked play arrived only in February 2023. This time, they have set a surprisingly earlier release date for ranked play.
When is the MW3 Ranked Play release date?
According to the announcement at CoD Next in early October 2023, ‘Ranked Play’ for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will arrive towards the end of Season 1. Season 1 for Modern Warfare 3 begins on December 6, 2023, and Call of Duty seasons typically last around three months, so expect Ranked Mode to arrive in February 2024.
Just like Season 1 of Modern Warfare 2, players are expecting a brand new collection of weapons, vehicles, and operators with the first season of MW3.
While still unknown, the release date of Ranked Play for Modern Warfare 3 will likely be roughly the same time MW2 introduced its Ranked mode. The latter received Ranked Play almost four months after the release of the game. Once again Treyarch Studios is in charge of Ranked Play for the new Modern Warfare title, just like last time with Modern Warfare 2.
Modern Warfare 3’s Ranked Play releasing towards the end of Season 1 provides players with enough hours to get practice in the game and confidently hop into ranked servers when they arrive. Players can take time to get familiar with the weapons and balance before the release of the highly competitive mode.
We can expect CoD Modern Warfare 3 Ranked Play around February since a season lasts for approximately three months. However, there still has yet to be an announcement of a confirmed date.
