You have to repair a tire for the Road Rage mission in MW3 Zombies. The problem is, the game doesn’t tell you how to do this. Given how easy the Road Rage mission is to complete, it’s a great one to choose to gain some Act 1 progress. Fortunately, fixing a tire in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies is simple once you know what to do.
How to repair a tire in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies
There are two ways to repair a tire in MW3 Zombies:
- Interact with the tire.
- Take the vehicle to a gas station for auto-repair.
Interact with the tire
You can fix a popped tire by getting close to it, aiming at it, and waiting for the prompt to repair it to appear. Then, just hold the button specified until the tire is replaced. Doing so will meet the requirement for Road Rage. It’s that easy!
Take the vehicle to a gas station for auto-repair
In MW3 Zombies, gas pump icons are scattered around the map. If you drive a vehicle near one of these gas stations, it’ll slowly repair the entire vehicle, including the tire. It’s unknown if this meets the requirement for the Road Rage mission (I had already passed it by repairing the tire directly). However, if it doesn’t, you can just hop out and shoot the tire until it blows, then repair it yourself.
Remember that while fixing the tire directly is a fast fix, pulling into a gas station might be a wise move, particularly if you’re handling several car problems at once or need a secure place to assemble. In addition to changing the tire, the gas station auto-repair restores the vehicle’s health, which comes in handy later in the game or during fierce zombie battles.
Furthermore, gas stations frequently have additional supplies or equipment that could be helpful for your task. Therefore, your current needs may determine whether you choose a short tire repair or a complete vehicle repair at a petrol station.
