In Enshrouded, you’ll get recipes that require sand before you find the actual resource. You’ll be waiting to get your hands on sand in Enshrouded as it is only located in one of the last areas that open up. Fortunately, sand becomes one of the easiest crafting materials to find once you gain access to this location.
Where do you find sand in Enshrouded?
You can find sand in Enshrouded in the Kindlewastes region. This desertous area is mostly desert dotted with mountains here and there. The Kindlewastes are the final biome you’ll gain access to, and opening the path there requires you to have a level four Flame Altar. You’ll need to head to the far east of the map to get there. Just stick to the paths, and you can’t miss it.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to wait until you get a level four Flame Altar, you could climb the mountains blocking the way. However, this is a pain, and you’re likely under-leveled for the area.
Once you make it to the Kindlewastes, getting sand in Enshrouded is as easy as using your pickaxe on any ground covered in sand. You can collect all the sand you’ll ever need in quick order.
When you finally get some sand, you can use it for several recipes:
Fertilized Farm Soil:
- Fossilized Bone Dust x2

You can also make glass by mixing sand and charcoal, which is a material several other crafting recipes call for.
Securing sand in Enshrouded is a rewarding adventure that takes players to the Kindlewastes, a mineral-rich region. Mastering this task unlocks crucial crafting ingredients and represents a significant milestone in the game’s adventurous route.
