Does Enshrouded have mounts ridable creatures

Enshrouded Mounts: Are There Any Ridable Mounts in the Game?

You might be wondering if Enshrouded includes mounts. After all, ridable creatures are fairly common in games in the survival genre. Having an animal friend usually means you can increase your travel speed and inventory space, and we’ll look at whether that’s an option in this game or not.

Are there mounts in Enshrouded?

There are no mounts in Enshrouded. This has been disappointing for players who were hoping for a more convenient means of exploring the vast open world. However, the game is still in early access, leaving open the possibility that mounts may be introduced in the future. As of now, players have to rely on alternative methods for world exploration:

  1. Flame Altar Fast Travel: Flame Altars serve as a convenient means of fast travel within the game. Placing them strategically across the map allows players to save progress, return to base, and respawn in case of death. These altars require five stones to construct and can be placed up to a maximum of four at a time.
  2. Glider: Players unlock the Glider relatively early in the game through the workbench. It’s crafted using materials like Shroud Wood, Animal Fur, String, and Shroud Spores. Using gliders enables players to cover large distances quickly, especially when launching from Ancient Spires.
  3. Sprinting: Sprinting remains a fundamental method of traveling in Enshrouded. Players can enhance their sprinting capabilities by allocating skill points to Endurance to increase their Stamina pool. With more Stamina, players can sprint longer distances.

While these methods offer efficient ways to explore the game world, it’s advisable to avoid traveling at night due to reduced visibility, which can obscure both environmental hazards and hostile creatures.
