You’ll need to find Amber locations in Enshrouded for many mid-game recipes. This fossilized tree resin is used in crafting armor sets, weapons and spells. Amber most importantly is needed to upgrade the Flame Altar. A leveled up Flame Altar unlocks new areas in the game and extends the maximum timer while in the Shroud.
Where do you get amber in Enshrouded?
In Enshrouded, you can obtain Amber primarily in the Shrouded areas. It enables players to craft essential items, upgrade their abilities, and enhance their spellcasting capabilities. It’s a rare and valuable resource that players must actively seek out and collect to progress effectively throughout the game. Here are the main locations where you can find Amber:
North Revelwood: Look for small, orange-looking stones distinct from copper and clay. Amber veins have a lighter orange texture. Be mindful of mutant enemies in the shroud.
Elixir Well Mine: This location in northwest Revelwood is particularly rich in Amber, with veins, walls, and pillars of the resource. Clear the area of enemies before venturing in. Use the narrow corridor inside the cave and stairs up to the Shroud root to reach the biggest clusters. Chopping down the root extends your mining time exponentially.
Near the Ancient Spire:
- South: Glide directly east from the landmark in the Shroud to find Amber on a large, detached stone.
- Northeast: Glide northeast from the landmark to find Amber on the northwestern side of a large cliff beside the Shroud.
- North tip of the Shroud: Head north inside the Shroud from the northeast location to find it under cliffs on large boulders.
- Northwest tip of the Shroud: Place a Flame Altar near this location for quick access. Glide northwest from the Flame Sanctum northwest of the Ancient Spire to find Amber on a cliff side.
These locations are easy farming spots for gathering Amber. Remember to be prepared for encounters with enemies while exploring these areas.
