Palworld Breed Astegon

Palworld: How to Breed Astegon

You’ll want to breed Astegon in Palworld ASAP. It’s a powerful Dark/Dragon type Pal which has high-level Mining skills, making it valuable for gathering resources. Additionally, Astegon can be used as a mount, offering decent speed and stamina. Astegon can be found in specific areas of Palworld, such as the Destroyed Mineshaft and Wildlife Sanctuary 3. Players have the option to capture it in the wild or breed it using specific Pal combinations.

How to breed Astegon in Palworld

Before breeding Astegon in Palworld players need to be sure that they have reached at least level 19 in Palworld to unlock the Breeding Farm. This allows you to breed Pals and obtain new ones. To breed Pals, you’ll need Cake, which can be crafted using the Cooking Pot unlocked at level 17. Gather the following ingredients to make Cake:

  • 5 Flour
  • 8 Red Berries
  • 7 Milk
  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 Honey

You will need specific parent Pals to breed Astegon. The recommended breeding combo for Astegon involves using Grizzbolt and Relaxaurus.

  • Grizzbolt: This Pal can be found on the southernmost island of the map. If you can’t find it easily, consider breeding Mossanda and Grayhound instead to obtain Grizzbolt earlier.
  • Relaxaurus: You can find Relaxaurus near the Ascetic Falls and around the Sealed Realm of the Thunder Dragon.

Once you have the necessary parent Pals (Grizzbolt and Relaxaurus), use Cake to breed them together. Place them in the Breeding Farm and wait for the process to complete. This will result in an Orserk, an Electric- and Dragon-type Pal.

Take the Orserk (which should be of the opposite sex of the Grizzbolt) and breed it with the Grizzbolt. After breeding, you’ll receive a Huge Dragon Egg, which you can place in the Egg Incubator and wait for it to hatch. Once hatched, you will have successfully bred Astegon.

Alternatively, you can use these combinations to breed Astegon:

  • Suzaku Aqua + Relaxaurus
  • Lyleen + Suzaku
  • Cryolinx + Grizzbolt (longer process)
  • Blazamut + Elizabee (longer process)
  • Helzephyr + Orzerk (requires pre-breeding Orserk)
