Palworld iron farm

Palworld: Best Iron Farming Method for Early & Late Game

Here are the best Palworld iron farming methods for early and late game. This will allow players to farm iron, no matter what stage of the game they are in.

Best way to farm Iron in Palworld during the early game

Building an Iron farm in Palworld involves catching multiple tombats and setting up a secondary base near mining nodes, like the one behind the Desolate Church.

Players may have to collect the ores manually once they start playing the game. However, Tombats can be caught during the night near the northern portions of the map from the starting area. Tombats have incredible efficiency when it comes to mining and hauling loot back to the storage. They can also work during the night-time.

Players shouldn’t overfill the base since more pals working on the same farm need more food. The pals will eventually lose their sanity without proper working conditions. Hence, assigning three Tombats per farm is an ideal choice.

To make the farm even more efficient, set up a furnace with a fire and storage boxes near a wall foundation. Players can easily grapple onto the wall with a grapple gun, get the required resources, and use the furnace.

To haul the loot back to the base, set up a wall behind the fast travel point. Two quick grapples can quickly optimize overall work output. Remember to use a fire-type pal for setting up the furnace.

Best way to farm Iron in Palworld in the late game

During the late game, players can use multiple Mammorests to chain the Earth Impact skill together on ores for faster drops.

Mammorest is a grass-type pal that can be spotted in the starting area itself. However, players would need three to four level 30 Mammorests to successfully implement this farming technique. Level 30 Mammorests have an incredible AOE skill known as Earth Impact which can target multiple nodes and land incredible damage.

However, the skill has a cooldown which can be completely negated by having multiple Mammorests. Hence, the idea is to spawn a Mammorest near nodes and use the Grass Tornado and Earth Impact skills while mounting it. Then, players should immediately get off and spawn a different Mammorest from their collection to do the same.

If players have four Mammorests, there is no need to use the grass tornado skill since by the time the last pal uses Earth Impact, the first one can use the skill again. Following this exactly can lead players to receive upwards of 1700 ores in under 20 minutes.
