Enshrouded Salt Locations

Enshrouded Salt Location: How to Get Salt

Enshrouded salt is a mineral found in naturally occurring deposits within the game world. It’s the main ingredient for Dried Fur, essential for crafting high-quality armor like the Scout Set. This set is ideal for ranged characters, offering bonuses to critical damage, stamina, and ranged damage. Salt can be used to craft Nitrate. Dried Fur can also craft a Small Backpack, increasing your inventory space by 8 slots. This allows you to carry more loot and resources.

How to find salt in Enshrouded

Salt is a crucial resource in Enshrouded for crafting armor, consumables, and more. It appears as grey cubes scattered on the walls of salt mines. Salt is a valuable mineral that goes beyond just seasoning your food. Players can easily farm it in abundance in the late-game but we have tips for players looking for it in the early game too.

Early Game

  • Egerton Salt Mines: This is the most accessible option early on. It’s located northwest of the Ancient Spire Springlands and marked on your map after talking to the Hunter NPC. Be aware of the level 5 enemies and manage your Shroud timer.
  • Hidden Ruin near Long Keep: Northeast of your starting base in Cindervale, there’s a hidden ruin with a small salt deposit and a chest. This is a good option for a quick refill but might not be enough for larger projects.

Mid/Late Game

  • Saline Quarry: This quarry offers more salt than the Egerton Mines but is located southeast of Braelyn Bridge, a further journey. Ensure your Flame Altar is strong enough to access the area and prepare for tougher enemies.
  • Farming: Once you have a Flame Altar near a salt mine, you can farm salt by mining it and then resetting the game (exit to the main menu and reload). This allows you to refill quickly without venturing far.
