For the upcoming Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One, Microsoft is bringing back the iconic "Mad World" trailer from the original Gears of War which received at least 18 million views since its debut eight years ago.
The trailer actually opens with CG footage from the original Gears of War and slowly but seamlessly transforms into the 1080p, 60fps footage from the Ultimate Edition. Just as a point of comparison, I've left the original trailer down below.
Enhanced by developer The Coalition, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition launches August 25 and GameRevolution should have a review by that time so check back here soon for our critique. The Deluxe Edition comes with plenty of skin packs for weapons and characters in multiplayer matches, including Adam Fenix, Aaron Griffin, Unarmored Marcus, and Civilian Anya.
