Maybe you saw it coming, thanks to a copyright document or… industry rumor… you know these things happen. Leaks are just a part of the video game industry, so it's not shocking that EA's Origin service has already had its first leak! And it seems to have been quite a doozy.
Syndicate was an isometric tactical game in 1993, but it will be reborn as a first-person action game thanks to Electronic Arts and Starbreeze. You'll recognize them as the developers behind The Darkness (the first) and The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay.
Apparently along with new player abilities, the game will come with four-player co-op and Richard K. Morgan will be writing the script, following up Crytek's Crysis 2. Hey, it looks OK, but I can't imagine anyone with a love for the original Syndicate will take a liking to this game's new direction.
Quick! Look at these screenshots!
