Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Switch Bundle Leaked Ahead Of Today’s Nintendo Direct

Purchasing a console at launch has always come with huge tradeoffs. While using new technology and being able to participate in launch discussion is seen as worth it for many, risks involve early hardware issues as well low value bundles that

In the case of the Nintendo Switch, the console launched standalone with no software or extra accessories. However, a bundle appears to be coming just a couple months after its debut.

A Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Switch Bundle has leaked on a Russian retailer's web store. It was listed for more than an hour before the company pulled the listing.

The bundle appears to include the base Switch console along with a copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. An image of its box accompanied the listing with high quality art showing the world famous track Rainbow Road.

It is worth noting that the listing had a price tag of 25,000 rubles, a 2,500 premium over the base Switch console, which is the equivalent of $43.95 USD. This would suggest that the bundle won't debut at $299 if it does arrive in the West.

Nintendo will host a Nintendo Direct later today that is said to focus on ARMS and Splatoon 2, but we have a feeling that it'll also include an announcement for this bundle. Stay tuned.
