Bethesda Softworks announced today a follow up to the award-winning 2006 PC and Xbox 360 game, Prey. Prey 2 will be developed by Prey's original developers, Human Head Studios, and like the first game will utilize the latest iteration of id Software's id Tech engine.
Prey 2 will be releasing on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC some time in 2012. No further information was given, but the game is set for a more in-depth reveal in the May issues of Official Xbox Magazine and PlayStation: The Official Magazine.
Prey 2 project lead, Chris Rhinehart, had this to say about this morning's announcement:
