All 13 VGA Premieres Uncovered

Tomorrow night is SpikeTV's annual Video Game Awards. Each year there is more hype and buzz surrounding the world premieres of games than there is over the actual awards themselves. This year, the hype train is chugging along faster and stronger than ever in anticipation of 13 world premieres which will debut during the show.

Bits and pieces, teasers and trailers, have all been released leading up to the show. We've been keeping tabs on it all and have uncovered all 13 games which will be shown on the VGAs. (Note: "World Premier" doesn't mean a new game announcement; it's usually a teaser or a trailer.)

The Last of Us

After a year filled with sequels and next to nothing in the way of new, original IPs, the promise of a new PS3 exclusive IP has our interest piqued more than any other game of the thirteen.

New BioWare Game

The new BioWare game has us excited for many reasons, but none more than A) it's BioWare, and B) it's a new IP.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising

It's been a long year — colder than the steel of Raiden's katana blade — without more news on Metal Gear Solid: Rising. The game missed E3 entirely, so we're dying for information – any information at all – on the latest from the Metal Gear franchise.

Alan Wake: American Nightmare

Alan Wake never got the recognition he deserved. Maybe this time the flashlight will turn to limelight.

Bioshock Infinite

Easily the most anticipated game of 2012, and among our favorites at this past E3. Expectations are high for Irrational Games' gem, the VGA trailer will raise them event further.

Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 3 made its debut at last year's VGAs. This year we're expecting a full revealing of the game's Galaxy At War multiplayer mode.

New Epic Games Title

Epic has said that their new game is radically different from previous Epic titles and that they're afraid of fans' reactions. Don't be, Epic – we're craving for something unique.

Rainbow Six: Patriots

Rainbow Six: Patriots might still be well over a year away from release, but the promise of a more emotionally charged first-person war game can't be ignored.

The Amazing Spider-Man

Another Spider-Man game. Ho-hum. Hopefully there's some innovation, and we don't mean just stealing everything about Mirror's Edge and adding in some Spidey sense.

New Tony Hawk Game

After the last few outings, Tony Hawk games deserved to be kickflipped into the trash bin and never spoken of again. Can the aging birdman soar once again? We'll find out tomorrow night.

Hitman: Absolution

Hitman: Absolution showed at E3 this year and blew away the journalists who saw the lengthy gameplay demo. The VGA spotlight is sure to shine kindly on everyone's favorite bald assassin… if it can find him in the crowd.

Darksiders II

Darksiders was a bit of a sleeper when it was released, but the way THQ's publishing has been lately, you won't hear the end of Darksiders II. Expect all the bombast and hollywood production the awards show can muster for Darksiders II.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

Let's hope this one is actually more than meets the eye.

This is what we know of so far, but there is sure to be at least a few surprises. Be sure to tune into GameRevolution during the show to live chat with us. Sign up for a reminder below.
