Capcom confirmed Resident Evil 6 yesterday after a sharp marketing campaign and will be launching Resident Evil 6 on November 20th for Xbox 360 and PS3, two days before even Japan gets it. A PC version will come some time afterwards. (Two shafts in one day, oh my.)
Set ten years after Resident Evil 2, the US president decides to reveal the extent of the Raccoon City incident, perhaps exposing the full nature of Umbrella, but a bioterrorism attacks soon occurs. This leaves Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield, who is in China, to deal with the worldwide attack, which means they hopefully must team up to save everyone.
Resident Evil 6 has been in development for two years and will retain both single-player and co-operative modes. I'm hoping that this opportunity to explore the world isn't squandered in the game, and that we might see a Resident Evil 6 for the PS Vita.
