With their monthly magazine cover revelation, Game Informer announced a new MMORPG releasing in 2013: The Elder Scrolls Online. Shortly thereafter, Bethesda confirmed the news on their blog.
TESO is set one thousand years before Skyrim, during the time when Prince Molag Bal tries to absorb Tamriel into his demonic realm. Zenimax Online studios is in charge of development, with MMO veteran Matt Firor of Dark Age of Camelot fame at the helm as game director. More trailers and screenshots should appear tomorrow, and we can expect plenty of news surface at E3.
The Online megalopolis will arrive in the ever vague 2013 for PC and Mac only.
