Call of Duty IV Remastered Is Going Standalone This Week, Will Be PS4 Timed Exclusive

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be getting its own standalone release. Scheduled for June 27th, this second debut will include the remastered title without requiring purchase of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Priced at $39.99, previously the title was only available as part of a $79.99 deluxe edition.

This standalone release will arrive on the same week as a Days of Summer event that includes a new map, playlists, and XP bonuses.

The announcement makes no mention of PC or Xbox One, though its debut image states that it will be available “first on PS4”. The other platforms should see releases in the near future.
