The Game Awards 2017 Has the “Biggest World Premiere Lineup Yet”

Geoff Keighley is gearing up for The Game Awards 2017, releasing a ton of information and teasing what’s to come when the award show kicks off next month on December 7th. One of the most intriguing bit of news Keighley has revealed is that The Game Awards 2017 will have the “biggest world premiere lineup yet.”

Besides awarding games that released in 2017 in various categories like Game of the Year, Best Narrative Direction, and so on, The Game Awards is known for being one of the most popular shows to reveal new game announcements or gameplay trailers. Each year, there are numerous announcements for announced and unannounced titles alike.

The games that have had world premieres at The Game Awards previously include indies and substantial AAA games, such as No Man’s Sky and Death Stranding. Every year, the amount of world premieres has numbered around 10 or so announcements and trailers, with 2014 having the largest at 12 total world premieres.

In addition, we will receive new trailers for already announced games.
