Resident Evil 6 launches on October 6th, but someone in Poland appears to have created their own release date.
A user on NeoGo, a Polish video game enthusiast website, has posted an article showing that he already has obtained a full release copy of Resident Evil 6. Images posted show a German edition of the game complete with a finalized box art and CD sticker.
As the story goes, said user traveled to a local store in Poznan, Poland and found several copies of Resident Evil 6 on the shelf. Despite being skeptical, he bought one and brought it home to find that it was indeed a full working copy.
It's common for publishers to print games early if the game finishes its development cycle well beyond the finalized release date, but it's rare for copies to be found in random nearby stores. Why can't I be that lucky?
