Microsoft has just announced a new Xbox One S bundle that will be coming with a copy of PUBG. It will be launching on February 20 worldwide.
The bundle will include an Xbox One S with a 1TB hard drive, complete with an Xbox One wireless controller and built-in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player, along with premium audio thanks to the Dolby Atmos app.
A full game download of PUBG is included alongside a one month Xbox Live Gold trial.. PUBG is currently one of the better choices for an Xbox One bundle, as it is one of the few exclusives available on the platform. Seeing as it managed to surpass four million players, the word of mouth alone will be able to entice new players into checking out this bundle, especially those who do not own a gaming PC or laptop to play PUBG on.
The bundle also includes a one month trial of Xbox Game Pass, which will grant players access to over 100 Xbox games across three generations of the console, from the original Xbox to the Xbox One. The Xbox Game Pass is a great bonus to an already impressive bundle, considering future games by Microsoft Studios like Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and Crackdown 3 will be playable from day one of their launches to Xbox Game Pass members.
The Xbox One S PUBG bundle will be priced at $299.99 USD and is already available for pre-order. It’s quite perplexing as to why Microsoft is only offering an Xbox One S bundle for now. Prospective Xbox One X buyers will still have no choice but to purchase the console and the game separately. Overall, this bundle brings a lot of bang for your buck, with all the added bonus content at a reasonable price.
