PS Now February 2018 Update: Yakuza 5, Disgaea 5, and Payday 2 on PS4, and More

Sony has announced the latest batch of games to arrive in its PS Now February 2018 update. So, if you want to dive straight into a primer for the Yakuza series before Yakuza 6, or fancy shooting some hoops on the court, then you’re going to want to sign-up to the subscription service.

PlayStation’s US blog detailed the dozen new games coming to PS Now in February 2018. Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 are obvious highlights with the sixth main series entry being just around the corner (despite its delay), and hidden gems such as Disgaea 5 and DiRT Rally are sure to get your motors running. With 2K’s tendency to over-accommodate for microtransactions in NBA 2K18, 2015’s NBA 2K16 might be more of a slam dunk for those who prefer the court to a reliance on cold, hard cash.

The list is as follows, with their original platform in parentheses:

  • Anomaly 2 (PS4)
  • Backgammon Blitz (PS4)
  • Bombing Busters (PS4)
  • DiRT Rally (PS4)
  • Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance (PS4)
  • Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek (PS4)
  • Gal*Gun: Double Peace (PS4)
  • Grand Kingdom (PS4)
  • NBA 2K16 (PS4)
  • Professional Farmer 2017 (PS4)
  • Yakuza 4 (PS3)
  • Yakuza 5 (PS3)

Not only that, but a few previously PS3-only games are getting upgraded to their PS4 versions. They include Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Guilty Gear Xrd Sign, Motorcycle Club and Payday 2: Crimewave Edition

The PS Now service hasn’t really reached the heights to, say, become gaming’s version of Netflix. However, these new titles are sure to tempt a few who want to reap what their sow in Professional Farmer or just straight-up want to drop the mic after karaoke with Kiryu-chan. The choice is yours.
