Family Guy has always had a fair few crossovers in its time running, so you won’t be surprised to hear that this Sunday Family Guy meets Warcraft in an epic, funny adventure of a lifetime. Or at least twenty minutes. Considering how successful Family Guy’s crossover was with other franchises like Star Wars, it looks as though Fox may be onto another winner as World of Warcraft has been around for over fourteen years and will no doubt bring a hoard of loyal, long-time fans to watch the latest episode this Sunday.
The announcement of the Family Guy slash Warcraft episode was first revealed on the Family Guy twitter. In the picture provided you can see Peter as an orc (strangely fitting) and Stewie as a paladin (not fitting at all). You can check this tweet out for yourself in the space down below:

In the summary of the episode (titled as ‘Veteran Guy’) on IMDB, the episode description is summarised as so: “Peter and the guys get caught pretending to be military veterans and are sentenced to join the Coast Guard.” While we may not be total experts on World of Warcraft, we’re pretty sure that there aren’t any coast guards around in the game’s worlds. So while it will be unclear on how much time will be spent in Azeroth, it does look like there will be a mixture of the two worlds at the very least.
But of course, it isn’t the first time that Fox has collaborated with Blizzard. In 2006, October 4th, there was an episode of South Park that aired “Make Love, Not Warcraft”. Does this mean there could be a potential episode for Blizzard’s newest FPS, Overwatch? Only time will tell.
The episode airs at 8 p.m. CST on Sunday on Fox.
