Hold onto your shopping trolleys folks, because it seems as though Nintendo has let out even more evidence that Epic Games legendary battle royale game, Fortnite, will be appearing on the Nintendo Switch very soon. Fortnite on Switch has been hinted at for quite some time now, so further evidence to confirm this ‘pretty-much-confirmed’ game coming to Switch is always welcome.
Said evidence was discovered by the Twitter user SciresM, who seemingly delved into the Nintendo eShop’s updates and uncovered something rather interesting. Interesting enough that will have fans eager to play the immensely popular multiplayer online buzzing with excitement. You can read the tweet for yourselves below.

That’s right, a Nintendo update for Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch has appeared and let’s face it, has near enough confirmed that Fortnite is indeed on its way to the Switch. Looking at it logically, it’s a clever move for both Nintendo and Epic Games to include the free-to-play game on its system, especially since it’s done so well on both consoles, mobile, and PC.
Of course, until it’s confirmed by Epic Games and Nintendo themselves, it’s best to take everything with a pinch of salt. However, with E3 officially kicking off this coming Saturday (9th of June) we’d be remiss not to think that Epic Games and Nintendo both have something up their sleeves. Though whether we’ll be surprised or not still remains to be seen.
To say Fortnite has been doing well for itself is possibly the biggest understatement of the year, and with the Nintendo Switch still taking the world by storm. It makes you wonder, was this pairing always in the stars? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
