Pokemon Let's Go Trailer, November 2018 Games

Pokemon Let’s Go Trailer Features Vermillion City, Team Rocket, Mega Evolutions, and More

The Pokemon Company has released yet another new Pokemon Let’s Go trailer earlier today, It showcases several features that have already been previously leaked or announced but this is the first time that in-game footage is actually shown. With only a few months left until Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee officially release, it’s no wonder that we’ll be seeing more actual gameplay and so far it definitely looks good.

The Pokemon Let’s Go trailer is titled “Picking Pikachu or Eevee Is Only the Beginning!” The trailer starts by showing players parts of Kanto, including Vermilion City, which would be instantly recognizable for fans of both the anime and game. In the anime, it was where Ash battled gym leader Lt. Surge for his third badge. We later see Lt. Surge himself in the trailer, using a Raichu against the player’s Pikachu.

Additionally, we get to see more of the S.S. Anne, including the interior and exterior of the cruise ship. Team Rocket’s Jesse and James also appear in the trailer, using Koffing and Ekans in a tag battle against the player. The game really seems to be taking a lot of inspiration from the Pokemon anime, especially in regards to its style and overall design. Maybe this is an indication that the Nintendo Switch is finally capable of bringing Pokemon games to the next level.

It was only yesterday that Japanese magazine CoroCoro leaked that Mega Evolutions will be coming to Pokemon Let’s Go. In the trailer, we get to see Mega Venusaur, Mega Charizard Y, Mega Charizard X, and Mega Blastoise unleash devastating attacks on their opponents. It will be exciting to see what else the game will have in store for players. We received our first look at other features of the game back in May, including the new world map, exclusive Pokemon and more. In the meantime, check out the “Picking Pikachu or Eevee Is Only the Beginning!” trailer below.
