Bandai Namco has been on a roll for the past week, and now that Tokyo Game Show 2018 has officially begun, it seems that the developer has saved what is arguably the biggest reveal for Jump Force to date for last. The Jump Force roster adds Yusuke Urameshi and Toguro from the iconic Yu Yu Hakusho manga and anime as playable characters. As of now, there are at least a total of 20 confirmed fighters in the game’s roster.
The Bandai Namco Entertainment U.S. official Twitter account announced the news earlier today, along with a Jump Force Tokyo Game Show trailer. The trailer showcases both Yusuke Urameshi and Toguro, pitting them against each other. Toguro is one of the most popular antagonists from Yu Yu Hakusho, and it looks like the upcoming crossover fighting game features his fully-powered 100 percent strength form. Fans can also witness Yusuke’s signature attack, the Rei-Gun or Spirit Gun, in action.
“The name’s Yusuke Urameshi and you just picked a fight with the wrong guy.” Hold on to your seats folks because Yusuke and Toguro are coming to JUMP FORCE!

Additionally, the developer has even included extra gameplay footage of the previously-revealed Killua Zoldyck and Kurapika from Hunter X Hunter. These two were just revealed yesterday, alongside several screenshots. This is the first time we’re seeing them in action. The Jump Force TGS trailer features Killua’s dishing out his trademark electrical attacks, as well as Kurapika’s unleashing his signature “Chain Jail” move.
Other confirmed characters in the Jump Force roster include Naruto and Sasuke from Naruto, as well as Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza from Dragon Ball. One Piece and Bleach characters are also in the game, including Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Blackbeard, Sabo, Ichigo, Rukia, and Aizen. Previously, the most recent announcement was the addition of Yugi Muto from Yu-Gi-Oh, as well as Gon and Hisoka from Hunter X Hunter.
According to the Jump Force TGS trailer, the game will arrive for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in February 2019. We will have to wait for more details and information as we get closer to the eventual release date. In the meantime, check out the Jump Force Tokyo Game Show 2018 trailer below.
