Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed Rebellion for the Android and iOS, with a slated release date of November 21, 2018. Unlike the mainline titles in the iconic franchise, the upcoming mobile game will be a strategy RPG, instead of an open-world action stealth game. It will be developed by Behaviour Interactive, best known for developing popular games like 2016’s Dead by Daylight and 2015’s Fallout Shelter for publishers Starbreeze Studios and Bethesda Softworks, respectively.
According to the official website, players will be able to assume the role of multiple Assassins from different Assassin’s Creed titles in Assassin’s Creed Rebellion. This marks the very first time where several Assassins from different historical periods will be simultaneously playable in the same game, including the likes of Ezio Auditore, Aguila de Nerha, and more. Instead of the usual action and stealth gameplay that the franchise is known for, Rebellion will feature strategy RPG elements. Players will build, manage, and control their Brotherhood by collecting Assassins from different historical periods to fight against the Templar.
Downloading Assassin’s Creed Rebellion within ten days following its official release on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store will grant players special rewards. However, these rewards will only be unlocked for all players as the game reaches set pre-registration milestones. For instance, a total of 500,000 pre-registrations will grant every player 300 Helix Credits and 5000 coins. The best possible rewards will be granted when it pre-registrations hit three million, which will unlock the character Mario Auditore for everyone.
In order to pre-register for Assassin’s Creed Rebellion, Android users can head directly to this Google Play Store link while iOS users can do the same by signing up with their email addresses here. Keep in mind that the aforementioned special rewards can only be redeemed from November 21 to November 30, 2018. Gamers can look forward to a special Greek-themed in-game event at launch to celebrate the recent release of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
