Game Pass now includes over 200 titles such as Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Forza Horizon 4, and Sea of Thieves.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds headlines the new Game Pass annnouncement, but it is by far not the only surprise for the service. 16 games wer announced for the subscription service. The new games are:

The new additions cover a wide range of games, including some of Microsoft’s best titles (Ori) and excellent indie games (Thomas Was Alone). Xbox Game Pass has grown quickly to include over 200 games from Microsoft and third-party publishers.

Highlights from this collection include Ori and the Blind Forest and Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice. Ori and the Blind Forest first released in 2015, and was developed by Moon Studios. The game was praised for its gorgeous visuals and sweeping soundtrack. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was developed by now Microsoft-owned Ninja theory, and released in 2017. Hellblade told the story of the titular Senua as she travels to the realm of Helheim to retrieve her dead lover’s soul. The game was highly-regarded for the performance of Melina Juergens as Senua, aural and visual design, and tackling of mental health.

PUBG finding its way to Game Pass comes as the title continues to struggle against free-to-play Fortnite. The lower barrier for entry will likely bring more players to the game, although it’s mediocre performance on the Xbox One could turn some off from the battle royale game.

Xbox Game Pass is a $10 a month subscription service, allowing subscribers to download and play any game on the service. Game saves, achievements, and DLC purchased through Game Pass will transfer to purchased versions of games.  Game Pass is expected to come to PC sometime in the future.
