Spider-Man Silver Lining DLC Release Date

Marvel’s Spider-Man Silver Lining DLC Launches Later in December

Marvel’s Spider-Man Silver Lining DLC will be launching later in December 2018 and will feature Silver Sable as one of the major antagonists.

A great many PS4 gamers have been having plenty of fun with Spidey’s latest adventure. We certainly loved the PS4 Spider-Man game and this upcoming DLC is sure to make it an even greater experience. The Spider-Man Silver Lining DLC has been detailed and a teaser trailer has been released showcasing what players can expect in this newest piece of content for Insomniac Games’ take on the adventures of New York City’s most sarcastic hero.

Silver Sable has returned to New York City in an effort to reclaim her stolen Sable International tech. She’s a mercenary that particularly enjoys hunting down war criminals and other ne’er do wells. While she may technically be a good guy, she doesn’t always get the job done as cleanly as Spidey likes to. This puts her at odds with New York City’s favorite wall-crawler and will surely make the Spider-Man Silver Lining DLC an interesting experience.

The new content coming in this DLC will include new enemy types and upgraded versions of existing enemies. Of course, quite a few new missions are being added as well. Some of the game’s Hammerhead bases and crimes have also gotten a buff, further adding to the challenges players can expect. Achievement hunters will have new trophies and challenges to contend with, and three new suits for our hero will be added to the game.

The Spider-Man Silver Lining DLC can be pre-ordered later today for $9.99 or your regional equivalent on the PlayStation Store. You can also pick up The City That Never Sleeps on the PlayStation Store right now, and get all three pieces of the game’s major post-launch DLC in one neat package for the price of $24.99. The Spider-Man Silver Lining DLC launches for the PlayStation 4 on December 21, 2018.
