Fallout 76 Free Games

Fallout 76 Free Games Given to Current Players Next Year

Fallout 76 free games are coming to the people who have bought and kept Bethesda’s latest survival role-playing experience. If you’ve played Fallout 76 at any point in 2018, you’ll be entitled to get some free goodies sometime early next year.

More than a few people have played and enjoyed Fallout 76 since its release. The game has had its fair share of troubles, but things have gotten a little bit brighter for players who stuck with it. A trio of Fallout 76 free games is being awarded to players as long as they’ve played the game on any platform. Here’s what they’ll be getting:

Fallout is the one that started it all. Modern gamers will find things a little different from what they might expect from a Fallout title. Your vault’s water chip is broken and it’s up to you to head out into the irradiated wasteland to get a new one! Along the way, you’ll encounter freakish mutants, deadly humans, and a host of strange characters!

Fallout 2 is the sequel to 1997’s Fallout and mixes things up a bit. Set 80 years after the first game, your primitive village isn’t doing so well. Rumor and Legend tell of the G.E.C.K., a powerful device that can restore a small portion of the world to its former glory. You must retrieve this device and save your village!

Fallout Tactics is the last of the three Fallout 76 free games. This was certainly a polarizing game at the time of its release as it departed in many ways from the gameplay in the first two titles. The focus has shifted to squad-based combat in the vein of stuff like XCOM. It might not be the best Fallout game, but hey—it’s free.

All three of the Fallout 76 free games are typically packaged as the Fallout Classic Collection. Players who enjoyed Fallout 76 on PC, Xbox One, or PS4 will get these on PC sometime in early January 2019. It isn’t specified how they’ll be delivered, but I imagine that it will be through Bethesda.net or Steam. If you didn’t play Fallout 76 and you’d like to get these games anyway, you can pick them up on Steam at a neat discount as part of the Steam Winter Sale.
