Ubisoft Store free game

The Ubisoft Store free game giveaway is back

Players can get another Ubisoft Store free game, with Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China available to pick up for free until February 5. The title is one of three platformer-style adventures that Ubisoft released a few years ago in an attempt to expand the cast of the series. And while you can get Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China for free, there are a few other deals worth casting an eye over as well.

If you missed the Chronicles episodes of Assassin’s Creed when they first arrived, this is your chance to have a go without parting with your cash. Simply log in to your Uplay account, head over to the store, and press on the “Lunar Giveaway” option.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is one of three 2.5D platformer titles Ubisoft released, along with chapters in India and Russia. You play as Shao Jun, who also makes an appearance in the animated movie Assassin’s Creed: Embers, as she travels across China to avenge her brother. She does this mostly by hiding in bushes before killing unsuspecting guards, most of whom probably had nothing to do with her brother’s murder.

And while getting something for free is always pretty great, there are a few other deals that are worth a second look on Uplay at the moment. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is going for $30, while the Standard Edition of Far Cry 5 is available for $15, which is well worth the money if you’re keen on Far Cry New Dawn but didn’t get around to dealing with Joseph Seed last year. As you’d expect, there aren’t any discounts on upcoming games like Far Cry New Dawn or The Division 2, but there’s a lot on offer otherwise, meaning that if you’ve missed out on a few Ubisoft titles in recent years, you’ve got a great opportunity to pick a few up for less.
