April was all about Portal Kombat. Valve's sequel was, no lie, one of the highest-rated games of this console generation. But it wasn't enough to test the might of NetherRealm Studio's new Mortal Kombat retelling, which sold just under 900,000 units in the United States throughout the month of April.
