It has been nearly seven years since Square Enix first announced the Final Fantasy spin-off Versus XIII. Since then we've seen very little of the game, leaving many to suspect that it will never see the light of day.
Those who haven't yet lost hope will be pleased to know that the company plans for a big Final Fantasy Versus XIII reveal, and the date is set. Sadly, game director Tetsuya Nomura didn't specify what day that actually is, only assuring fans that it's coming.
"It’s a delicate situation within the company. The date for our next reveal is set and we are working toward preparing information for that," Nomura said on Square Enix Merchandise Radio, courtesy of NovaCrystallis. "Perhaps the details as to why information couldn’t be released might be touched upon with the next information announcement."
