BlizzCon 2019 dates and pre-sale tickets

Blizzcon 2019 dates announced, tickets set for pre-sale

Despite all the staff shake-ups that the company has gone through lately, Blizzard is still pushing forward with its annual BlizzCon show.

The company announced this morning that it will host the 2019 edition of the show in Anaheim once again. It’ll take place on November 1 and 2 at the Anaheim Convention Center. And during that time, it’ll be home for all things Blizzard, including Diablo, Overwatch, and more.

While a schedule hasn’t been provided yet, the show will be home to panels surrounding the company’s hit games. We’re also likely to get an opening showcase once again, with a few surprises in store.

But one interesting note is that the show is ready to expand this time around. Blizzard Entertainment confirmed it would provide more space to accommodate fans and attendees, so it won’t be such tight quarters.

Last year’s show was kind of a letdown without any kind of announcement for Diablo 4. However, Blizzard president J. Allen Brack promised that the team will be “sharing some of our latest developments” there. Hopefully this means much better news for fans.

Tickets for the event will go on sale starting on Saturday, May 4. For those that miss out on that particular window, a second set will be available on Wednesday, May 8. Three tiers are up for grabs, going from $229 to $750. There’s the general pass, a special portal pass, and a pass that includes a special benefit dinner alongside the show. They’re broken down into more detail here.

There’s no word yet if the Virtual Ticket will return. But since it’s a huge seller with fans, it’s likely to come back.

Interested in attending the show? You can learn more about it here and prepare for tickets to go on sale in just a few days.
