Blizzard Entertainment has announced when the next expansion is coming to its card battling game. The Hearthstone Saviors of Uldum release date is August 6, 2019. It will bring a new set of cards, features, and mechanics to the long-running Warcraft-themed digital card game.
Like the previous expansions, Saviors of Uldum will include 135 brand new cards, some of which donning a new keyword. Known as Reborn, will bring a minion back to life when it’s destroyed; the caveat is it will only have one remaining health when revived.
Saviors of Uldum will also introduce Plagues. These spell cards can be held by the five League of E.V.I.L. classes and will affect every minion on the board, including your own. So, whether you’re a Priest, Shaman, Warrior, Warlock, or Rogue, you’ll want to save these for the most opportune time.
The new expansion will also include a few new Quest cards. They only cost one mana point and it will track the player’s quest’s progress aboce their Hero portrait. When you complete the quest, you will instantly reap the benefits with a new Hero Power.
A new Solo Adventure is also coming to Hearthstone thanks to Saviors of Uldum. However, not much is known about it. We only know that it will be coming sometime this September. More details about that, as well as all the new cards, will be revealed soon.
Hearthstone: Saviors of Uldum bundles are available to pre-purchase right now. The Saviors of Uldum Mega Bundle, which costs $79.99, includes 80 card packs, the Elise Starseeker Druid Hero, the Elise Starseeker card back, and a random Golden Legendary card from the new expansion. For $49.99, the normal bundle includes 50 card packs, the aforementioned card back, and a random Golden Legendary card.
Pre-release events for Saviors of Uldum will also be occurring between August 2 to August 5 where you’ll be able to open your packs a few days early. More details about those events will be posted on the Fireside Gatherings website in the near future.
