The Nintendo Switch Lite has carried the family of consoles to a huge sales milestone in Europe, with the Nintendo Switch now having sold more than 10 million consoles in the region.
Nintendo Switch sales up by 30%
Nintendo shared the announcement on Twitter, highlighting how the Switch Lite has had a major impact on sales of the hardware. By comparison, Switch sales are up by 30% compared to 2018 and by 40% compared to 2017, its launch year. The Switch family has now sold 37 million units worldwide.

Sales of the Switch family of consoles show no signs of slowing down. A number of major releases are scheduled for the near future, including Pokemon Sword and Shield in November, Animal Crossing: New Horizons in March 2020, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. The latter has yet to receive an official release date after being revealed at E3 2019.
