Nintendo has surprised fans of the prodigiously titled dungeon-crawler/rhythm game Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda with a new piece of free DLC. Called Octavo’s Ode, the Cadence of Hyrule DLC is available now as a free update for Cadence of Hyrule owners.
Nintendo of Europe announced the Cadence of Hyrule expansion this morning on Twitter. Octavo’s Ode is a new storyline that, as its name implies, gives more information on antagonist Octavo’s background. Players will be able to play as Octavo, using his Golden Lute to attack enemies and discovering why he plotted to take over Hyrule.
