The Call of Duty: Warzone player count has hit a massive 30 million players milestone just ten days after its launch across the world, handily beating Fortnite in the race to this major milestone.

Call of Duty: Warzoneabsolutely shattered Fortnite’s was first launched on March 10, 2020, and launch with 6 million players in the first few days. It’s less than two weeks later and the Call of Duty: Warzone player count has bested Fortnite yet again, increasing five times over its initial launch.

As a point of comparison, Fortnite launched its Battle Royale game mode on September 26, 2017, and didn’t hit 30 million players until more than two months later.

While the 30 million milestone is certainly impressive, more than a few Battle Royale games have had a stellar launch only to fall from grace. Apex Legends hit a peak of 50 million players before slowly starting to decline. Only time will tell whether or not Call of Duty: Warzone can maintain its recent success.
