This Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag trailer lays out further details about Edward Kenway's narrative journey through the West Indies, but what it doesn't tell you is that the Wii U and PC versions of the next AC game will be out a little later than Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, but no later than the next-generation console versions.
The "Pirate Heist" trailer above cashes in on the trend in gaming where the protagonists are all about stealing stuff. In Black Flag, that means gold. In Payday 2 it was bags of cash and drugs. In Grand Theft Auto V it's… well it's everything.
Still, I'm thinking it'll be smart to hold off on Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag until November 22nd. That's when Wii U, PC, Xbox One, and PS4 versions will be waiting for you on store shelves. But… uhh… what about those PS4 launch bundles that come with ACIV Black Flag? These new consoles have totally messed up the release calendar!
We'll get a firm date on this one and get back to you. Until then, check out the more in-depth character video above, the one that shows the women some of you noticed went without mention in the last trailer.
