Asus ROG Phone 3 Dirac

ASUS and Dirac join forces to enhance mobile gaming audio

As mobile gaming grows and as more players enjoy competitive titles like Call of Duty: Mobile, PUBG Mobile, Fortnite on mobile, the demand for high-quality audio increases. In the same way that PC and console gamers need to pinpoint enemy gunfire and footstep noise, so too do mobile gamers. That’s why ASUS and Dirac joining forces to update the new ROG Phone 3 with “optimized sound quality” through supported headsets is big news!

Following an over-the-air update, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 can now be paired with a range of Dirac-optimized gaming headsets, including: ROG Cetra, ROG Cetra Core, ROG Cetra RGB, ROG Delta, ROG Delta Core, ROG Delta White Edition, ROG Strix Go 2.4, ROG Strix Fusion 300, ROG Strix Fusion 300 PNK LTD, ROG Theta Electret, and ROG Theta 7.1.

Once updated, ASUS ROG Phone 3 owners will enjoy Dirac’s “headphone optimization solution” which creates a “balanced, clear sound so dialogue remains crisp and voices intelligible,” while also reproducing “rich acoustical detail, so even the softest, subtlest audio cues – like passing footsteps or discreet whispers – can be heard during gameplay.” What’s more, the “deep, clean bass allows gamers to feel the excitement and intensity, while improved separation helps gamers to better recognize where sounds come from.”

At launch, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 delivered the smoothest mobile gaming visuals with its 144 Hz display, and now it aims to push audio quality further with its Dirac-optimized sound.
