The Darksiders 3 Switch release date has finally been confirmed as coming in September, and it’ll be a complete edition with all of the game’s DLC expansions. A Darksiders 3 Nintendo Switch reveal has long been rumored, similar to how the Switch versions of previous Darksiders games were leaked before their reveal, and now we know the Darksiders trilogy on Switch will finally be complete. Here’s everything known about the release of Darksiders 3 on Switch.
What is the Darksiders 3 Switch release date?
The Nintendo Switch version of Darksiders 3 will release on September 30, according to THQ Nordic, and will be available both physically in stores and digitally through the Nintendo eShop.
The Darksiders 3 Switch release will be a complete edition that includes the main game and both DLC expansions: Keepers of the Void and The Crucible. There doesn’t appear to be any special collector’s editions coming for the Switch version, such as the special edition that came out for PC/PS4/Xbox One that included the remastered versions of Darksiders 1 and 2. Given that Darksiders 3 Switch is coming nearly three years after the game’s original release date of November 2018, it’s hardly surprising.
How much will Darksiders 3 Switch cost?
Darksiders 3 on Nintendo Switch has an SRP set by THQ Nordic of EUR 39.99/USD 39.99/GBP 34.99, which will likely be the same on the Nintendo eShop. This may seem high for a three-year-old game, but remember that it includes both DLC expansions and the SRP on Steam alone outside of sales is far higher than that price. It will probably include the game’s New Game Plus mode too, which was made available for Darksiders 3 as a patch a few months after the title’s release.
Our reviewer wasn’t enamored with Fury and Darksiders 3, calling it”a messy, mechanically conflicted game with an inexcusable amount of technical problems.” Check out that review right here.
