An Injustice 3 DC Fandome announcement may be coming on October 16, if internet excitement is to be believed, thanks to the reveal of the line-up of names attending the event. The DC Fandome line-up lists Injustice studio NetherRealm head Ed Boon as attending, who has been teasing the studio’s next game all year. The developer just completed its work on Mortal Kombat 11 and has officially moved on to its next game, so could fans get an Injustice 3 release date confirmed next week?
Is an Injustice 3 DC Fandome reveal possible?
An Injustice 3 reveal at DC Fandome on October 16 is entirely possible. As the line-up reveals, NetherRealm head Ed Boon will be in attendance, which may well be to announce the studio’s next game — which is hardly likely to be Marvel Vs Mortal Kombat if it’s at a DC Comics event. It’s possible that Boon may be there entirely to talk about the Injustice animated movie out next week, but that would be the perfect time to announce a new game too.
Regardless, the internet has already jumped to this conclusion.
Well with @noobde being there, I'm guessing we're going to get an Injustice 3 announcement of some kind

The names attending also include Rocksteady’s Sefton Hill and WB Montreal’s Patrick Redding, who will be there to show off more from Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and Gotham Knights. Epic Games’ chief creative officer Donald Mustard will be there too, presumably to announce the next Fortnite/Batman crossover — which may include a tie-in to The Batman movie.
Three names not on the list are Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot, so fans will have to make do with Tyler Hoechlin, Robert Pattinson, and Lynda Carter for Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. DC promises that “even more will be revealed” than it has already announced, so there is hope for both Injustice 3 and the Superman game many fans are hoping for. There’s still no clue as to when the Injustice 3 release date might actually be, or even if it’s coming at all. Let’s hope fans are right in this case.
