Bayonetta 2 is coming exclusively to Wii U, and this has unsurprisingly upset many gamers who wish to play it on either PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.
Creative producer JP Kellams has made it clear the outcries for Platinum Games to port the game to other consoles is starting to get old. Kellams vented on Twitter, saying:
I hate posting anything Bayonetta 2 on our Facebook. Not because I hate Bayonetta 2, but because I hate the pedantic port-begging.
It’s been over a year since we announced. We heard you. We get it. We are just happy that we get to make Bayonetta 2 for the patient fans.
Since Nintendo is helping to fund the production of this sequel, it will remain a Wii U exclusive for the foreseeable future. Without Nintendo's support, the game wouldn't be getting made at all.
