Elden Ring Closed Network Test

Elden Ring Closed Network Test codes are being sold by scalpers for over $250

The first Elden Ring Closed Network Test codes have been sent out to many fans who signed up on the Bandai Namco website, which will offer the first chance for many to get their hands on the eagerly-anticipated Dark Souls follow-up. Unfortunately, it seems scalpers have got hold of codes and are selling them on eBay for over $250 — so players desperate to get an Elden Ring Network Test code will have to pay a premium to do so, although it is not recommended.

Can Elden Ring Network Test codes be claimed now?

Elden Ring Closed Network Test

Codes for the Elden Ring Network Test are being sent out now but sadly registration for the closed beta closed on November 1, so it is now impossible to get an Elden Ring code on PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X if the player hasn’t previously registered for one — unless, of course, they want to brave the scalpers and pay premium prices on eBay. Bids for some codes are going for higher than $250, which shows just how much fans want to get a tiny play of a game that’s less than three months away from release.

However, caution should be advised. The Elden Ring Network Test website clearly states that “it is prohibited to sell or resell the code or the game data for the network test to others” so it is very possible any codes sold on eBay could get deactivated and the account they’re on be banned from participating in the test. So while there is no other way to get a Network Test code at this time, another test may be held before the February release date. Elden Ring PC players seem to have been shut out of this beta, so there may be a PC-specific test in the next couple of months. Think very carefully before bidding.
