Xbox Game Pass March 2022

Xbox Game Pass Gets Guardians of the Galaxy, Lightning Returns: FFXIII and More in March

Seven new titles will be coming to Xbox Game Pass for the first couple of weeks of March 2022. Like last time, the list begins with an existing Game Pass game added to the cloud today, but there are also six other titles heading to console and PC throughout the next fortnight, including Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

What’s coming to Xbox Game Pass in March?

Microsoft Flight Simulator has been added to Xbox Cloud Gaming today, March 1. Far: Changing Tides has also joined Xbox Game Pass today on consoles, PC and cloud. This day one release puts players in charge of a strange ship that can be upgraded as protagonist Toe travels through the post-apocalyptic world in search of a new home.

On March 3, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be added for console and PC. The remaining four games will then be released into the program on March 10. As well as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, there is Kentucky Route Zero and Young Souls arriving for console, PC and cloud. Finally, the delayed Lawn Mowing Simulator will appear for Xbox One players too.

A trio of new Game Pass perks will be added soon. On March 3, players can grab the Fighter and Customization Bundle for EA Sports UFC 4 thanks to EA Play. The pack includes Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury as well as several cosmetic customization items. March 9 will be when players can pick up the Pass Tense Mongoose Bundle for Halo Infinite, including a Mongoose skin, XP boosts and challenge swaps. Finally, the Hjørrani Savannah Bundle becomes available for Century: Age of Ashes on March 14, bringing the Hjørrani Savannah dragon, an XP Booster and gems.

Finally, as is customary for any Game Pass announcement, there’s a handful of games that will be leaving the service in the middle of the month. NieR: Automata, Phogs!, Torchlight III, and The Surge 2 will all be leaving Xbox Game Pass on March 15. If you’re in the middle of playing any of these titles, make sure you finish them up within the next couple of weeks.

In other news, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have been announced exclusively for Nintendo Switch later this year. They’ll be introducing new Generation IX Pokemon, including three new starters. Elsewhere, Elden Ring maintenance brought multiplayer servers down earlier today but they should be back up and running on all platforms now.
