Godfall Ultimate Edition

PlayStation Console-Exclusive Godfall Comes to Xbox With Launch Discount

The PS5 and PS4 console-exclusive period has ended for Godfall. Developer Counterplay Games and publisher Gearbox Software have announced the Godfall Xbox release date, for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One systems, alongside news that the game will also be launching on Steam.

When is the Godfall Xbox and Steam release date?

Godfall: Ultimate Edition will be released for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam on April 7.

On the same day, the Ultimate Edition will also be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Epic Games Store. The game has not been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass and it’s highly unlikely to be arriving on day one, but there’s always the possibility the game will be added to the service at a future date. However, those who do buy the game for Xbox Series X|S will be able to make use of Variable Refresh Rate and Dolby Vision for HDR.

The Ultimate Edition includes Godfall: Ascended Edition, all previous pre-order bonuses, and all of the game updates so far, including Primal, Lightbringer, and the upcoming Exalted update. As well as the game, the Ascended Edition includes the Fire & Darkness DLC expansion, 3x Gold Valorplate skins, 5x Gold weapon skins, Gold Shield skin, Gold Royal Banner skin, Unique multiplayer lobby title, and the Orange Valorplate skin for Vertigo.

The upcoming release will also offer players the chance to skip the story and head straight to the end-game content if they choose. Players can choose to immediately skip to Player Level 50, getting instant access to all of the skill points and weapons for Valorplates. This would then mean end-game activities like Dreamstones, Tower of Trials, Lightbringer, and the Spirit Realms could be accessed immediately without having to bother with going through the campaign.

Godfall: Ultimate Edition will launch on Xbox and Steam on April 7 at $29.99 for a limited period of time. After that, the game will be priced at $39.99.

In other news, the Stand with Ukraine Humble Bundle has managed to raise $10 million for Razom for Ukraine, International Medical Corps, Direct Relief, and International Rescue Committee. Elsewhere, the latest Nintendo Switch update has finally added folders and game groups, one of fans’ most requested features.
