No More Heroes 3 Release Date Window Announced for PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC

Publisher Xseed and developer Grasshopper Manufacturer have announced that the No More Heroes 3 release date window will be Fall 2022 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Windows Store. This mean that No More Heroes 3 will no longer be a console exclusive for Nintendo Switch, which is great considering the performance issues the game has on that platform.

Will No More Heroes 3 be enhanced on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms?

According to Xseed, No More Heroes 3 on non-Switch platforms will be taking advantage of their higher processing power with improved HD visuals, a better framerate, and faster loading times.

To celebrate the release, a physical No More Heroes 3 Day 1 Edition will be available for pre-orders as well for non-Switch platforms. Set with a $59.99 price tag, the Day 1 Edition will include the game, a 70-page softcover art book that spoofs Akira on the cover with Travis Touchdown walking toward a red motorcycle, a CD with select songs from the game’s soundtrack, and a red, white, and blue commemorative biker license plate with the words “Santa Destroy” and “MOE~” along the front. All of these items will come packaged in a custom box with an original illustration by the series artist Yusuke Kozaki.

No More Heroes 3 Release Date Window

It’s unclear whether Grasshopper Manufacturer have plans to bring No More Heroes 1 and 2 to PS4, PS5, and Xbox as well, but the chances of it will certainly improve if this multiplatform version of No More Heroes 3 is successful.

No More Heroes 3 follows protagonist Travis Touchdown as he is forced out of retirement to defend Earth and Santa Destroy, and prove that he is not a washed-up hero. Similar to the first two No More Heroes games, you can expect a hyperviolent hack-‘n’-slash action game with plenty of pop-culture references and flashy, anachronistic visuals.

In other news, Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting its first expansion with CD Projekt Red announcing a release window for it, and the latest update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection is bringing Floodfight and cross-platform co-op.
