Dead by Daylight Dating Sim ‘Hooked on You’ Coming This Year

As part of its sixth-anniversary stream, Behaviour Interactive has unveiled a brand new spin-off of its hit horror game Dead by Daylight. Hooked On You is a dating simulator that is set to arrive on Windows PC via Steam later this year.

While developer Behaviour Interactive made a number of announcements about Dead by Daylight during today’s stream, one of the most unexpected was that it was working on a new spin-off game. Hooked On You is a dating simulator that will play very similarly to a visual novel as you date a variety of villains from the main game. This will include characters such as The Wraith, The Trapper, The Huntress, and The Spirit among others.

The studio has teamed up with Psyop to create Hooked On You. That developer previously worked on the KFC dating sim I Love You, Colonel Sanders! While it is certainly a more lighthearted take on the Dead by Daylight series, the game will still include the ability for you to be viciously killed by one of the murderers if you make a particularly bad choice. Unfortunately, there was no exact release date, although it was confirmed that it will launch on Steam. Whether it will eventually make its way to other platforms is also unknown at this point.

Hooked On You was not the only announcement to come out of the stream. A crossover with both Resident Evil and Attack on Titan was unveiled in the live video, both of which are due to arrive in the near future. Meanwhile, the developers also lifted the lid on the latest Chapter coming to Dead by Daylight. Roots of Dread will introduce a new map and an extra killer known as The Dredge.

In other news, Disney has announced the release date for Star Wars Andor on Disney Plus, while Bloober Team has declined to confirm the Silent Hill 2 remake leak.
