Diablo Immortal Preload PC

Diablo Immortal Preload Available Now for PC But Not in Belgium or Netherlands

Diablo Immortal is released on PC and mobile on June 2 and those wanting to jump straight in at launch time can start their preload on PC. Blizzard Entertainment has revealed exactly when players around the world can expect to access the game with the exception of Belgium and Netherlands, who won’t be getting the game at all.

What time will Diablo Immortal launch?

Diablo Immortal will launch at 10 am PDT on June 2 for iOS, Android, and PC in Open Beta. The map above shows what time players can expect the game to launch in their region. PC players can preload the game right now from Battle.net so they’re ready for Skarn, Lord of Damnation, and his battle-hungry forces the moment it launches. iOS and Android players will have to wait until the game appears on their respective stores, although that may start happening from June 1.

Those in Belgium and Netherlands will be missing out, though. According to a message posted to Reddit from Blizzard Support, players in the two countries will not be able to install Diablo Immortal due to “the countries’ gambling restrictions”, although they also seemed to hint at players using VPNs to get around those restrictions:

“Unfortunately players in the Netherlands and Belgium will not be able to install Diablo: Immortal due to the countries’ gambling restrictions. The lootboxes in the game are against the law in your country, so unless the gambling restrictions change the game will not be released in the Netherlands and Belgium. It would be illegal for you to download the game in another country like France.

If you manage to run the game I cannot guarantee that you will not be banned for it. What I can say that in similar situations in the past where RNG lootboxes were against the law in certain countries we did not ban any players for it, but I cannot give you a guarantee that you will not be banned.

If you do manage to play the game on PC or Mobile as long as you use the same account on both the cross-save should still work as intended.”

Diablo Immortal won’t be the first game to fall foul of gambling restrictions in Belgium and Netherlands. Just recently, Apex Legends Mobile didn’t launch in Belgium for his reason. Others have removed their premium loot boxes so they can continue to be available in the affected regions while others offer premium lootboxes that contain a fixed list of contents.

In other news, a major death in the first couple of episodes of Kenobi has fans wondering if the Rebels animated series will still be considered canon. Elsewhere, Halo Infinite has put select speedrunner skill jumps and the infamous tank gun back into the game following player feedback.
