Microsoft: Competitive Digital Pricing “On The Agenda”

Microsoft has Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb has confirmed that the company is re-examining the way it handles pricing of digital games, suggesting that the Xbox Live marketplace may offer more competitive pricing in the future.

Speaking on Reddit, Hyrb replied to a user who lamented the current pricing scheme Microsoft has going, assuring the user, "Is is indeed on the agenda."

Elsewhere in the thread, he addressed the outrage over gamers not getting the $10 discount on Titanfall if they purchase digitally, saying, "We are way aware of this and many of the concerns of the community – we have some great stuff planned for Xbox One this year (and beyond.) As soon as we can share some of the goodness…we will :)"

Here's to hoping the company gets it act together sooner rather than later. Compared to Valve's marketplace and what Sony has going with PlayStation Plus, Microsoft is quickly falling behind.
